About This Project
The Pad Up the Girls Initiative addresses a critical but often overlooked challenge facing female students. Many girls miss school during their menstrual periods due to lack of sanitary products. This program distributed sanitary pads to female students while providing comprehensive menstrual health education. We addressed stigma, proper hygiene practices, and the importance of continuing education during menstruation.
